IT alerting your team won’t learn to ignore
An alert is only useful if people still trust it. StatusEagle sends fewer alerts because every one is verified first, and sends each one to the person who owns the failing service, in the channel they’ll actually see.
Example check · demo data
IT alerting software notifies the right people when monitored systems fail, through channels such as SMS, phone calls, chat and email. Good alerting is verified, routed to an owner, and quiet when nothing needs a human.
Alert channels
Confirm which channels are included on each plan
| Channel | Best for | Notes | SMS | Phone call | Slack | Discord | Custom webhook | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Non-urgent monitors, daily awareness | On every plan | |||||||
| Critical monitors, out of hours | ||||||||
| Wake-someone-up failures | Uses your own Twilio or Telnyx account, so you pay provider rates directly | |||||||
| Team visibility, working hours | Post to a channel | |||||||
| Teams that live in Discord | Via Discord webhook | |||||||
| On-call tools, ticketing, automation | JSON to any endpoint |
Route by monitor and by person
Not every alert is everyone’s problem. StatusEagle lets you choose channels per monitor and per team member, and send different status changes (down, partially down, back up) to different places. A pattern that works well:
The real cost of alert fatigue
Every false page teaches people to wait and see. After enough of them, “wait and see” becomes the response to real outages too. The fix isn’t more channels; it’s fewer, better alerts. StatusEagle’s rule: a failure must survive a retry and be confirmed from another location before anyone is notified. Unconfirmed blips are still kept in monitor history.
If StatusEagle pages you, it has already checked twice.
Send alerts to anything
